Shanghai K11 Art Mall receives LEED Gold Level Certification
Shanghai K11 Art Mall, which will be officially opened on 28 June, has been awarded the LEED Gold Level Certification by the US Green Building Council, recognising K11's success in implementing its environmental protection initiatives. Developed based on a low-carbon and eco-conscious design philosophy, Shanghai K11 has enriched people's daily lives through the utilisation of renewable resources, selection of a sustainable site and provision of various green facilities and techniques, a vertical green garden, and multi-dimensional natural landscapes created by urban farming.
Established and implemented by the US Green Building Council, the LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally-renowned award, which is currently considered the most comprehensive and influential assessment of buildings' environmental designs and sustainability.
