Palm Island Resort, the prestigious golf resort developed by New World China Land Limited in Huiyang, Guangdong Province, had won the "Outstanding Resort Club" Award in the 2006 Hong Kong Golf Media Golden Globe Award, hosted by the Association of Hong Kong Golf Media on 19 May.
