Rickshaw Sightseeing Bus Encored with Acclaims
With its innovative concept and unique marketing strategies, New World First Bus ("NWFB") "Rickshaw Sightseeing Bus" garnered "Certificate of Merit" and "Citation for Outstanding Small Budget Campaign" in the "HKMA/ TVB Awards for Marketing Excellence 2010". In the same competition, Ms Elaine Chan, Deputy Head of Corporate Communication was honored an Individual Award "Distinguished Marketing Leadership Award", in recognition of her contribution in marketing and outstanding performance in leading her team.
Ever since its launch last year, "Rickshaw Sightseeing Bus" has become popular among the locals and visitors by running two brand new thematic sightseeing routes, "H1 Heritage Tour" and "H2 Metropolis Tour". It provides the passengers with complete flexibility to enjoy the truly unique and local travelling experience with the One Day Pass, the new fare format introduced by the Company for the first time. "The awards were made in tribute to the professionalism and team spirit performed by our colleagues and huge support from our collaborates. It is a wonderful way to commemorate the Rickshaw's one-year-old birthday by receiving such prestigious awards. NWFB will continue to provide more quality and innovative bus services to our passengers," said Ms Chan.
The annual HKMA/ TVB Awards for Marketing Excellence began in 1985 and have been coveted industry recognition for the last 25 years. Organized by The Hong Kong Management Association and sponsored by Television Broadcasts Limited, the Awards bestow honor and recognition on organizations and individuals that have outstanding performance in leading and executing marketing programme, to raise the standard of the marketing profession in Hong Kong.
