New World Group is always striving to contribute to the society with its best. Besides participating in various charity events, the Group also forms corporate volunteer teams to encourage its management and staff to serve the company and contribute their love and care to the needy.

The two corporate volunteers teams, including the "NWCL Volunteer", formed by the staff of New World China Land Limited ("NWCL", Hong Kong stock code: 917) and the "NWS Volunteer Alliance", formed by the staff of NWS Holdings Limited ("NWS Holdings", Hong Kong stock cod: 659), visited the elderly residents in Feng Yan Jie in Li Wan District of Guangzhou, with the arrangement of The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council.

The charity visit was lead by Mr Kwan Chuk Fai, Group Director - Corporate Affairs, and Mr Kenneth Geng, Regional Director - Southern China of NWCL, with around 100 "NWCL Volunteer" members from Guangzhou, Beijing, Shenyang, Jinan and Chengdu, and 34 "NWS Volunteer Alliance" members joining. Besides delivering love and care to the elderly, the volunteers also got a chance to share their experiences of volunteering work. The two volunteer teams also celebrated the kick-off of the "NWCL Volunteer" and its 2nd anniversary. At the kick-off ceremony, the name of the volunteer team was announced to be changed from "NWCL Volunteer Alliance" to "NWCL Volunteer", and its new logo and visual identity were unveiled.
