Portia Tang Po Mei, Director of Marketing, Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong
Portia Tang has been recently appointed as the Director of Marketing at Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong. Prior to this appointment, Tang was the Group Director of Sales in the Regal Hotels International.
Tang is a knowledgeable hotelier with over 17 years of experience in the industry. She started her career in Sales Department at Conrad International Hong Kong since 1996. Subsequently, Tang joined the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong in 1998 and during her nine years of service, she had promoted from a Sales Manager to the Director of Sales who was responsible for developing sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue, and to ensure smooth operation in the Sales Department.
From her last role as the Group Director of Sales in Regal Hotels International, Tang was overseeing the sales performance and conducting sales training for all hotels in the group, in order to achieve the group's profit targets. Tang was also the task force team member for the pre-opening of several hotels in China.
