Newly Designed Grand Ballroom Unveiled At Grand Hyatt Hong Kong
After a complete overhaul, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong proudly unveils its newly refurbished Grand Ballroom in September 2013. Recognized as a premiere venue to celebrate special occasions, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong's Ballroom has been the go-to venue for Hong Kong's elite for over 20 years.
The brand new design by BLD Studio incorporates sliding doors that can be opened to connect the Grand Ballroom with the nearby Grand Rooms providing additional space to accommodate larger events. The 730-square-metre (7,858-square-foot) pillar-free Grand Ballroom also has a built-in stage and a full LED Wall (measuring 9.2mW x 4mH), providing an excellent audio-visual experience that can be manned from a dedicated control room on the ground level. A dramatic crystal chandelier highlights the Grand Ballroom's neutral tones and maintains the feeling of luxury and elegance that defines the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong style. The foyer entrance is now carpeted for added comfort while guests enjoy pre-dinner drinks and mingling, with an option to close off this area providing absolute privacy for high-level, confidential events. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 950 people theatre-style and 1,600 for cocktail parties. When combined with the foyer and the grand rooms, 74 round table private dining can be arranged for 888 guests.
