Launched in 2012, New World Springboard is funded by the New World Group Charity Foundation to provide under-resourced youths aged from seven to 12 with up to seven years of professional sports training. Last year, outstanding students had the opportunity to meet Jeremy Lin at his training camp in Beijing. In addition, New World Springboard consists of a mentorship programme with staff as mentors offering students guidance, encouragement and support. The programme also extends its support to parents of the students, with a Parent Club established to provide members with various trainings, seminars and exchange activities to help them instil a positive attitude in their children, while enhancing their knowledge of parenting and adolescent psychological development.

It also provides a platform for demonstrating outstanding accomplishments and professional standards.
