New World Group Scoops Five Asia Recruitment Awards for Innovative Human Resources Strategy
New World Development Company Limited (the “Group”; Hong Kong Stock Code: 00017) has earned five awards at the Asia Recruitment Awards 2015. Steered by Adrian Cheng, Executive Vice-chairman and Joint General Manager of the Group, The Artisanal Movement, the Group’s new brand personality encompassing five core elements: Imagination, Bespoke, Craftsmanship, Heritage and Contemporary was launched last year. This spirit has been infused into the Group’s projects, services, management as well as talent recruitment and management.
The Group garnered three Silver awards in Best Recruitment Advertising Strategy, Best Use of Digital Media and Best Recruitment Innovation by an In-house HR Team. It also won two Bronze awards in Best Employer Brand Development and Best Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, a testament to the Group’s foresight and innovation in recruitment and talent management. Believing that everyone can be an artisan, an innovative and unique screening mechanism has been introduced to the Group’s Management Trainee Programme and Internship Programme to attract high-calibre and creative talent. Breaking away from traditional approaches, the Group taps “New World Talent” Facebook Page to encourage prospective candidates to submit their creative work online. Through this creative screening mechanism, the Group hopes to recruit more artisans who appreciate its brand values.
Asia Recruitment Awards 2016 is a regional recruitment award scheme dedicated to recognising the best recruitment and talent acquisition in Asia, organised by Human Resources Magazine, a leading publication in Asia for Human Resources Management.
