New World China Land Limited ("NWCL" or "the Group"; HK Stock Code: 917) held a grand foundation laying ceremony for its urban complex project-Yanchenglou area reconstruction project in Tangshan of Hebei Province. Mr. Cheng Chi Him, executive director of NWCL, Mr. Chen Zirong, director of NWCL Beijing, Mr. Chen Xuejun, Member of Tangshan Municipal Standing Committee and executive vice mayor, Mr. Liu Guidong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Lunan District of Tangshan, and other leaders of Tangshan Municipality and districts attended the foundation laying ceremony.
In the speech, Mr. Chen Zirong extended his gratitude to Tangshan municipal and district governments for the support of NWCL. He also noted that Tangshan is a city of infinite business opportunities and full of vigor, and NWCL firmly favors the development of Tangshan, and will strive to make the NWCL Tangshan project the model and high-quality project in the real estate industry of Tangshan, with the philosophy of New World and New Life. Mr. Chen Xuejun, Member of Tangshan Municipal Standing Committee and executive vice mayor welcomed NWCL to contribute to the urban construction of Tangshan in the speech, and expected that NWCL could build the project into the ecological, livable, and top-grade modern new-type community. Mr. Liu Guidong, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Lunan District of Tangshan, hailed the investment of NWCL in Lunan District in the speech, and expected that the ground breaking of the project could improve the city view of Lunan District and promote the commercial form of Lunan District.
The reconstruction project of the Yanchenglou area of Tangshan was the first project started in Luan District of Tangshan in 2011, and was also one of six key area reconstruction projects of Lunan District. The project was located at the intersection of two main roads of Jianshe Road and Xinhua Road, facing Tangshan Earthquake Monument Square in the east, South Jianshe Road in the west, Phoenix Tower in the north, and Dazhao Park in the south, and being the CBD of Tangshan. With the total estimated investment of RMB 1.2 billion Yuan, the project will cover an area of 31,600 sq.m., with the overall floorage of over 300,000 sq.m., the building density of 34.5%, and the greening rate of 30%. In addition, the project has the underground building area of about 70,000 sq.m., more than 1,800 parking spaces, and the building height of 158m. As a large-sized urban complex integrating business, office building, apartment, and residence, the project will be the landmark project of Tangshan.
