Fake website of New World Department Stores Uncovered
(14 June 2006, Hong Kong) New World Development Company Limited ("New World Group" or the "Group"; Hong Kong stock code: 0017) notes that a lawless party has impersonated the Group's retail arm, "New World Department Stores" ("NWDS") by using the name of "New World Department Stores" and a fake website at www.nwdshk.com, in which the content is illegally obtained from NWDS's official website.
The Group hereby declares that the official website of NWDS should be www.nwds.com.hk. Please identify it carefully to avoid any misunderstanding and losses.
In case there is any query, it is recommended to seek legal advice or report to the police so as to protect public interests.
