Grand Hyatt Hong Kong Appoints Patrick Shimada as Head Chef – Grand Hyatt Steakhouse
Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Patrick Shimada as the head chef of Grand Hyatt Steakhouse.
Chef Patrick commenced his career with Hyatt as commis chef at Grand Hyatt Manchester, San Diego in December 2002.In August 2004, Chef Patrick started as a sous chef at Po Pazzo Bar & Grille, an upscale steakhouse in San Diego and subsequently a sous chef at Whitetail Club, regarded as one of the finest country clubs in Idaho, from December 2005 until January 2008. Before joining Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, Chef Patrick returned to the Hyatt family in February 2008 and took on his previous position as sous chef at Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa, Hawaii.
Chef Patrick is now the head chef at Grand Hyatt Steakhouse.With a mixture of cultural backgrounds, including American, European and Asian, Chef Patrick is excited to showcasehis passion and commitment to culinary with his team, colleagues and diners.
