Kum Chi Keung
Artist. Creator. Artisan

‘In the city, we live surrounded by concrete. I want to get up in the morning, look out of the window and feel the vastness of Mother Nature,’ says Kum Chi Keung, whose favourite view would be of mountains – the sculptures of Nature. In the more intimate environment of his studio, Kum plants, tends to and is inspired by the many potted fruit trees that thrive around him. Everyday objects like these are a natural source of ideas for his work, and the apple that inspired SHARE is a natural choice.

Shunmyo Masuno
Designer

A garden to Shunmyo Masuno is a spiritual training ground in achieving a deeper understanding of oneself. His inner feelings and deep emotions are always expressed in his works – stone gardens – which he calls “expressions of his mind”. They have the power to evoke deep emotions, to calm one’s soul. They quietly invite their viewers to understand a simpler, a more harmonious worldview.
